Do I have to include the accreditation statement on a save-the-date card?
No. Typically these cards contain only initial, preliminary information like the activity date and location. If more specific information is included, such as faculty and objectives, the accreditation statement must be included.
Do I have to include the same patients/public representatives as planners and faculty for CME activities to comply with the Engages Patients/Public Criterion?
No. The Engages Patients/Public Criterion requires that patients and/or public representatives are involved as planners and faculty of CME activities. The same people do not need to be involved as both planners and faculty.
Do I have to measure performance change for every learner to achieve the expectations of the Improves Performance Criterion?
No. Providers can meet the Critical Elements and Standard for the Improves Performance Criterion without measuring performance change in every learner.
Do I need to collect new disclosure information for previously released enduring materials that will be available to learners after January 1, 2022?
No. You are not expected to comply with new disclosure requirements or obtain new disclosure information from those in control of content for a previously released activity, even if the activity is available to learners in 2022 or beyond. Does an accredited provider have to give a list of its participants to its commercial supporters?
