Yes. Providers can measure changes in the performance of individuals or groups of learners based on self-reports of changes in practice.
Can measures of "patient or community health" in the Improves Patient/Community Health Criterion be self-reported by patients and/or members of the community?
Yes. Providers can measure patient or community health improvement using a variety of approaches that can include self-reporting by patients and other community members.
Can non-physician learners use participation in the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) Improvement Activity: Completion of an Accredited Safety or Quality Improvement Program to meet their MIPS Improvement Activity expectations?
Yes. MIPS-eligible clinicians include many health professions in addition to physicians. Both the ACCME and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) encourage participation by multiple health professions.

No. Nonphysicians can be faculty at a CME activity.
Can other Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) Improvement Activities, in addition to the Completion of an Accredited Safety or Quality Improvement Program, be offered as accredited CME?
Yes. Any practice-based improvement work that learners participate in can be accredited CME, so long as it meets ACCME expectations for educational planning (Educational Needs, Designed to Change, Appropriate Formats, Competencies, and Analyzes Change).
Can patients who elect to have surgery (e.g., aesthetic procedures) be considered the “population” that the Addresses Population Health Criterion refers to?
Yes. In the context of your organization and the learners you serve, patients who elect to have surgery could be the collective "population" referenced in the Addresses Population Health Criterion.

Can the same CME activity, or activities, be used to demonstrate compliance with the critical elements and standard(s) for multiple criteria from the Menu of Criteria for Accreditation with Commendation?
Yes. There are no limitations on the provider using data/information from their CME activities to support compliance with appropriate Critical Elements and Standards for criteria in the menu approach.
