Reminders for Accredited Providers

TAB-DELIMITED BATCH UPLOAD TEMPLATES IN PARS RETIRE TOMORROW

As a reminder, the tab-delimited batch upload templates in ACCME’s Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) will be retired tomorrow, December 16, 2022. We recommend uploading your 2022 activities using the Excel template, which allows for more seamless batch uploads for both activity and learner credit data.

To help you get started with Excel templates and answer any questions you may have, join us for a free webinar on Tuesday, December 20 from 1-2 pm CT to learn more about the Excel activity and learner credit data templates, including a demonstration of how to use them.

MEET YEAR-END REPORTING AND MOC LEARNER CREDIT REPORTING DEADLINES

All certifying boards have year-end requirements for their physicians. To best support your learners, please enter their CME for MOC credit data for 2022 in PARS. The following certifying boards require learner credit data for 2022 by December 31, 2022:

  • American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA)
  • American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
  • American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO)
  • American Board of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery (ABOHNS)
  • American Board of Pathology (ABPath)
  • American Board of Surgery

We encourage you to report this data into PARS on an ongoing basis, preferably within 30 days of the learner completing the activity and evaluation. For more information about submitting learner credit data in PARS, check out this tutorial. Explore additional technical details on submitting learner credit data in PARS using batch upload processes or web services here.
