As an authorized licensing authority staff member, by logging into PARS, you acknowledge and agree with the following:

Cooperation: ACCME is relying on accredited providers’ representation that information entered into PARS for accredited activities and learners who participate in those activities is accurate.  The ACCME is not conducting any prospective independent investigation as to the accuracy of such information, though it does periodically audit organizations to ensure appropriate controls are in place.

Availability: ACCME has contracted with its service contractors to provide 99.9% uptime for all components of the PARS application, calculated monthly and excluding downtime scheduled for maintenance or anything outside of ACCME’s control.

PARS’ regularly scheduled maintenance window occurs on Wednesday between 2:00-6:00 AM (Central). The ACCME may also perform unscheduled emergency maintenance as necessary outside of the foregoing scheduled maintenance time window. The PARS user interface and API may be unavailable throughout all or portions of this period.

Fees: There is no fee for the licensing board or the physicians for participation in this service. Accredited providers are not charged to participate in this program or report data.

Responsibility: To the extent permitted by law, your licensing authority agrees to be liable for the acts and omissions, including negligent acts or negligent omissions of its directors, officers, employees and agents arising under these Terms of Use.

Liability: In no event shall ACCME be liable to your licensing authority for lost profits or revenues, loss or interruption of use, lost or damaged data, reports, documentation or security, or similar economic loss, or for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential or similar damages, arising out of or in connection with the performance or nonperformance of the services outlined in these Terms of Use, or for any claim made against your licensing authority by any other party, even if ACCME has been advised of the possibility of such claim.

Security Obligations: By using PARS, you acknowledge and agree to how the ACCME collects and uses information about you as described in ACCME’s Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property: PARS and any enhancements or additions to the PARS system are the sole property of ACCME.
