ACCME Menu of Criteria for Accreditation with Commendation Wheel

Accreditation Process
Accreditation Process, Accreditation with Commendation, Criteria, Policies & Standards, Re-Accreditation, Reaccreditation, Self-Study Report

This wheel is a graphic representation of the categories and criteria of the Menu of Accreditation with Commendation. To be eligible for Accreditation with Commendation, CME providers need to demonstrate compliance with any seven criteria of their choice, from any category—plus one criterion from the Achieves Outcomes category—for a total of eight criteria from the Menu of Accreditation with Commendation. Providers will continue to achieve and retain Accreditation by demonstrating compliance with the Core Accreditation Criteria.

Compliance with the commendation criteria is optional for CME providers and is not required to achieve Accreditation.
