LEARNING TO THRIVE TOGETHER AT #ACCME2022
Last month, we were delighted to welcome more than 730 participants, both in person and virtually, to the ACCME 2022 Meeting. Whether you joined us in Chicago or virtually, your engagement, research, collaboration, and passion for education helped make our first-ever hybrid meeting a success. We sincerely thank our meeting participants, faculty, volunteers, and staff for your contributions—without you this meeting would not have been possible. We hope you continue to implement key learnings in your work and feel as inspired as we do by the strength and resiliency of the CE community.
Leverage the CE Educator’s Toolkit to Elevate Your Educational Programming
The CE Educator’s Toolkit, a new resource designed to equip educators with best practices and guidelines to deliver effective CE, was officially launched on day one of the ACCME 2022 Meeting. The toolkit was developed by the Society for Academic Continuing Medical Education (SACME) through an ACCME research grant in fulfillment of ACCME’s strategic goal to advocate for research and scholarship in continuing education.
“What I love about the CE Educator’s Toolkit is that it’s not just general information about planning CE, but it includes helpful templates, checklists, and examples. I can’t wait to start applying this in my work.” –Mini-plenary session attendee

MARK YOUR CALENDAR: ACCME 2022 ACCREDITATION WORKSHOP ON AUGUST 4-5
New to accredited CE? The ACCME 2022 Accreditation Workshop is for you! Join us in Chicago on August 4-5 for an in-person-only workshop to learn more about the ACCME’s requirements and expectations for accreditation, including an in-depth look at the Standards and Integrity for Independence in Accredited CE, and how to position your organization to pursue Accreditation with Commendation. Together we will explore strategies for planning effective CE that supports your learners, your organization, and the community you serve.
Looking for a broader overview of accredited CE in advance of the workshop? Join our pre-conference Newcomers Orientation on Wednesday, August 3 for an introduction to what it means to be accredited in the ACCME system, including the value of accredited CE for physicians and the public.
“As a first-time attendee, the overall workshop went beyond any of my expectations. The knowledge that I am walking away with, I will share with my office upon my return. The most effective part of the workshop was the fact that everything was broken down in a way that I could understand and if someone had questions, the ACCME took the time to answer them.” –ACCME Accreditation Workshop attendee
More information about who should attend this workshop, what to expect, and how to register will be available at www.accmeworkshop.org soon.

Reminders for Accredited Providers
CONSIDER ADDING A TECHNICAL CONTACT FOR YOUR ORGANIZATION IN PARS
Did you know you can add additional contacts for your organization in PARS? All ACCME-accredited providers are required to list a primary contact to receive official ACCME communications, but you may also add an optional technical contact, designated for the person at your organization who manages information systems and technical updates related to your work in PARS. By entering a technical contact, you can ensure this team member will receive relevant PARS communications and updates (which will also be sent to the primary contact).
Tip: It is important to ensure that the primary contact is able to receive emails from ACCME addresses including info@accme.org and announcements@accme.org. You, or your organization’s IT administrator, may need to add these addresses to your internal list of allowed senders to prevent correspondence from being blocked or delivered to a spam folder.
