The 2025 ACCME Data Report is now available, offering a comprehensive look at the scale, reach, and impact of accredited continuing medical education and continuing education across the ACCME System. This year’s report shows that accredited providers delivered more than 242,000 educational activities in 2025 and generated 57.5 million learner interactions—evidence of sustained engagement across the healthcare community and the enduring value of trusted, independent education.
“Accredited CME/CE continues to sustain trust, expand reach, and support physicians and healthcare teams as they work to improve care for patients and communities,” said ACCME President and CEO Graham McMahon, MD, MMSc.
The report also highlights continued growth in interprofessional continuing education, strong investment in lifelong learning, and the diverse ways accredited education supports physicians and healthcare teams.
Total reported income across the ACCME System reached approximately $3.85 billion in 2025, while outcomes data show that providers continue to measure learner competence, performance, patient health, and community health.
Together, the findings underscore the strength of accredited education as a trusted infrastructure for professional growth and better care.
