Vincent Loffredo, EdD

Vincent Loffredo, EdD, is the Chief Learning Officer for the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA). In his role at ASA, Vince has responsibilities that include Education, Meetings and Publications. Prior to his role as ASA, he was the Vice President of Continuing Medical Education at the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) in Leawood, Kansas. He is a graduate of the University of Houston School of Education with a doctoral degree in curriculum and instruction, and a master’s in athletic administration.

He completed his undergraduate degree in Education at Syracuse University. Dr. Loffredo holds certificates from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, including the Institute for Management & Leadership in Education and the Institute for Educational Management. His research has been focused on educational design, curriculum and instruction. Dr. Loffredo has more than 20 years of experience as a faculty member and senior administrator in higher education.

He has served as the Vice Chancellor of Student Services at the University of Kansas Medical Center, the Associate Vice Chancellor of Student Services at the University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston, Founding Vice President of Academic Affairs at American InterContinental University Houston, and has held faculty positions and appointments at the University of Houston, San Jacinto North College, North Harris College, Texas A&M Galveston, American InterContinental University (Online), UTMB School of Nursing and School of Medicine, Argosy University (Online), University of Missouri Kansas City, and Montgomery College in Houston, Texas.
