NEWS

WORKING TOGETHER TO IMPROVE LEARNER DATA REPORTING

You asked, and we listened. Over the past year, many of you have shared how important it is to have a straightforward, more efficient way to report individual learner credits. This year, we’re rolling out a series of improvements to our Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) to make the reporting process easier, more accurate, and better aligned with your workflows.

These enhancements reflect a shared commitment across our community. As part of this work, a group of accredited providers and LMS vendors has partnered with us to help lead and demonstrate the value of these changes.

Our Innovation Partners—a diverse group of providers from across the country—are implementing new tools and sharing insights gained from their experiences. At the same time, our Premier Technology Partners—LMS vendors committed to seamless PARS integration—are helping ensure the systems behind the scenes are strong, secure, and ready to support you.

These valued partners are helping to advance a shared mission: to reduce administrative burdens and support meaningful, lifelong learning. Their participation strengthens the system for everyone.

We also want to acknowledge and thank all accredited providers who continue to advance their learner data reporting. Your work is essential, and these enhancements are designed to support and simplify your efforts.

Visit our Innovation Partners and Premier Technology Partners pages to learn more and see the complete list of participating organizations. Encourage your physician learners to create a free CME Passport account, allowing them to view and download a transcript of their CME credits.

NAM CLINICIAN WELL-BEING COLLABORATIVE FEATURED IN USA TODAY

The National Academy of Medicine (NAM) Clinician Well-Being Collaborative is featured in a recent USA Today patient safety campaign. The Collaborative’s article, “Addressing Health Worker Burnout Is Key to Protecting Patients,” highlights how health worker burnout is a critical patient safety issue—and how health systems’ investment in clinician well-being can support both providers and patient outcomes.

This piece outlines clear, actionable steps to prioritize safety and compassion in healthcare—beginning with protecting the people who care for us, with an ultimate focus on delivering quality care to all. It calls for a health care system that prioritizes its workforce, because clinician well-being is essential to patient well-being. Learn more at nam.edu/ProvidersAndPatients.

NEW ACCME CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS COHORT TO SUPPORT CE PROFESSIONALS AND STRENGTHEN TEAMS

We’re thrilled to announce that ACCME’s two Certificate Programs will be available twice a year, with cohorts offered in both Spring and Fall.

The two programs being offered are:

  • Certificate in Implementing the Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited CE: Equips participants with tools and strategies to protect learners, maintain independence, and ensure alignment with accreditation expectations.
  • Certificate in Data Management for Accredited CE: Strengthens skills in using the Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) to enhance data quality and streamline reporting.

Each three-month program is designed to equip continuing education (CE) professionals with real-world skills that strengthen their organizations’ operational excellence.  Participants complete 15 hours of self-paced learning on ACCME Academy, join two live support webinars, and take a remote-proctored final assessment to earn a certificate that validates their competence and supports career growth.

The Fall 2025 Cohort kicks off on Monday, November 10. Registration opens on Monday, September 15.

Planning ahead for Spring? We’ll share our Spring 2026 registration details in January. Be sure to check out the ACCME Certificate Program website for updates.
