PARS

Learn about the Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) and explore key resources about fulfilling ACCME's data reporting requirements.

Annual Reporting

All accredited providers are expected to enter activity data in PARS to fulfill ACCME’s data reporting requirements. Each year, we aggregate this information in an annual data report to identify long-range trends that shape the evolution of our system as a service to our accredited education community and other stakeholders.

Submit Data via Batch Upload or Web Services

All accredited providers within the ACCME System are required to use the Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) to report information about their CME activities.

State Medical Licensing Boards Collaborations

The ACCME and State Medical Licensing Boards Collaboration enables CME providers to report physician participation in accredited CME to participating boards via ACCME’s Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS), with the goal of reducing burdens on physicians and simplifying the audit process for boards.

Maintenance of Certification (MOC)

Accredited CME providers are not required to submit MOC applications for approval to the certifying boards that are collaborating with the ACCME. Instead, accredited CME providers may use the ACCME Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) to register activities for these programs.

US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMS)

As a service to the CME community and the FDA, accredited providers can now submit information about REMS-compliant activities in the Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS).

Research Opportunities

In response to requests from the CE community, we’re offering the opportunity to access anonymized ACCME annual report data to support research that assesses the effectiveness of accredited CE, identifies best practices, and is in service to the CE community.
