Program Improvements

The provider identifies, plans and implements the needed or desired changes in the overall program (eg, planners, teachers, infrastructure, methods, resources, facilities, interventions) that are required to improve on ability to meet the CME mission. (formerly Criterion 13)

ACCME Note

Building from the review of its CME mission, the provider is asked to identify, plan, and implement changes to its CME program that will help it be more effective. This step-wise process of collecting data, reviewing it, comparing it to expected changes, and then making adjustments to be more effective, is a form of quality improvement for the accredited provider.
