Nomination Instructions for 2027 Awards

2027 CME Administrator of the Year
This award will recognize outstanding leadership and operational excellence in managing the accredited CME enterprise, ensuring the effectiveness and integrity of accredited CME programs. Nominees must be associated with a CME program that is accredited and in good standing in the ACCME system.
The nomination form requires the following information:
Nominator’s name, credentials, email address, employer, role/title, relationship to nominee
Nominee’s name, credentials, email address, employer, role/title, name & email address of CEO of nominee’s employer
Nomination Narrative (750 words max)
- Define the nominee’s responsibilities and scope
- Identify their contributions to program performance, quality and/or integrity
- Describe their leadership actions and/or solutions developed
- Characterize their relationships with internal and external stakeholders
If anyone is endorsing the nomination, the following information is required for each endorser and should be included in a PDF that is uploaded as part of your supplemental materials: name, any credentials, email address, employer, role/title, relationship to nominee.
Optional supplemental materials, in PDF format, may be uploaded: letters of support (max 2), data summaries, project outcomes, or media artifacts
2027 CME Impact of the Year
This award will honor an accredited CME program or initiative that demonstrates measurable impact on clinician performance, healthcare practice, and/or patient outcomes.
The nomination form requires the following information:
Nominator’s name, credentials, email address, employer, role/title, relationship to accredited provider associated with the program or initiative being nominated
Name of program or initiative; name of accredited provider associated with the program or initiative; name and email address of accredited provider’s CEO; name, title, email address of accredited provider’s primary contact
Nomination Narrative (750 words max)
- Describe the accredited CME program or initiative; include titles/dates of relevant accredited activities
- Describe the scholarship and research engagement involved
- Describe the implementation and outcomes
- Share reflections on lessons learned and/or broader significance

2027 CME Innovation of the Year
This award will celebrate creative educational design, innovative use of technology, and/or pioneering learner engagement strategies used in accredited CME that advanced the quality and reach of the activities/education.
The nomination form requires the following information:
Nominator’s name, credentials, email address, employer, role/title, relationship to accredited provider associated with the innovation being nominated
Name of innovation; name of accredited provider associated with the innovation; name and email address of accredited provider’s CEO; name, title, and email address of accredited provider’s primary contact
Nomination Narrative (750 words max)
- Describe the educational design, innovation, or learner engagement strategies
- Explain why it matters–learner need and impact
- Share outcomes and/or feedback from learners
- Reflect on its broader applicability
If anyone is endorsing the nomination, the following information is required for each endorser and should be included in a PDF that is uploaded as part of your supplemental materials: name, any credentials, email address, employer, role/title, involvement with or relationship to the nominated innovation.

2027 CME Mentor of the Year
This award will recognize a CME professional at an accredited provider who has meaningfully guided, supported, and inspired the growth and development of colleagues in the field.
The nomination form requires the following information:
Nominator’s name, credentials, email address, employer, role/title, relationship to nominee
Nominee’s name, credentials, email address, employer, role/title, name and email address of CEO of nominee’s employer
Nomination Narrative (750 words max)
- Describe the nominee’s mentoring approach
- Provide explicit examples of mentee growth or advancement
- Explain the philosophy or intentionality behind the mentoring
- Optional: share 1 – 2 testimonials or quotes from mentees
