The in-person ACCME 2020 Meeting: Driving Change, which was scheduled to take place on May 6-8 in Chicago has been cancelled in response to COVID-19. Instead, we will offer ACCME 2020 Online on May 7-8.

After careful thought and consideration of the ongoing developments with COVID-19, guidelines from the city of Chicago, and CDC recommendations, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person ACCME 2020 Meeting in Chicago. We will miss engaging with our continuing education (CE) community and look forward to having the opportunity to bring our community together again, face-to-face, in 2021.

We will instead host ACCME 2020 Online on the afternoon of Thursday, May 7 and the morning of Friday, May 8 to support the rapidly expanding and evolving needs of our CE community. The goal of ACCME 2020 Online is to provide an accessible, virtual platform where our community of educational leaders can connect, learn from and with one another, demonstrate our community’s vitality and creativity, and be supported and inspired in these challenging and uncertain times.

We appreciate the extraordinary challenges you face as educators, helping the clinician community to respond to the pandemic. Your work is of vital importance—especially now. We are committed to supporting you as you support the healthcare teams currently on the front line. Watch for more details soon about ACCME 2020 Online at www.accmemeeting.org.
