Call for Stories for ACCME 2019
In 2019, we’re continuing to evolve the ACCME Meeting to help you achieve your goals—and better serve your learners and your organizations. In your feedback from the ACCME 2018 Meeting, we heard that you are striving to create greater strategic value for your organizations and welcome the opportunity to build a community of practice focusing on educational leadership.
New this year, there are a number of ways for you to actively contribute to the meeting, beginning with the opening of our Call for Stories.
We are soliciting three types of submissions from anyone planning to attend the ACCME 2019 Meeting taking place in Chicago on April 29-May 2, 2019. The deadline for submissions is midnight on October 5, 2018.
Download an Information Sheet with the rules and details for submission.

Can I enter more than one type of submission for the ACCME 2019 Meeting?
Yes. You are welcomed to submit for any/all of the submission types.
Can I enter more than one submission for each submission type? For example, can I propose several educational sessions, or several research studies?
There is no limit to the number of entries you can submit for either the Inspire and Teach (session proposal) or Demonstrate What Works (research study) submission types. However, we can only accept one My CME Story submission per prospective attendee.
When I click the link to each submission type, I’m asked to login or create a new account. Do I have to repeat this process for each submission type?
Yes. The submissions are being managed independently via three different online forms. If you wish to submit for more than one type, you will need to create a user account for each type. You may use the same username and password, if you wish.
Can I begin a submission and review/edit at a later time before submitting it?
Yes. Once you’ve created a user account and logged in, you can create your submission and save your work at any time. To edit/review, simply log back into the interface. If you have entered multiple draft submissions, you will be able to see and review them in your user account.
Where can I find more information about each type of submission?
Detailed information about each submission type can be found in the online form for each, via the links provided above (see: Share Your Story, Inspire and Teach, and Demonstrate What Works).
When will I be notified of the status of my submission(s)?
Submissions will be reviewed by ACCME 2019 Meeting Steering Committee on a rolling basis beginning in September and continuing through the fall. We expect to provide notification of selection/acceptance prior to the opening of registration for ACCME 2019 in November.
